Lithuanian EXPO 2010 Pavilion Explored by 3 Million Visitors
Lithuanian pavilion in the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai received the three millionth visitor on the last day of July.
The number approximately represents the population of the whole Lithuania.
Visitors of the EXPO 2010, which will started on May 1st under the slogan “Better City, Better Life” and will last for 90 more days until the end of October, are invited to get into a hot air balloon at the Lithuanian Pavilion and experience an imaginary, however very realistic, journey to Lithuania –one of Europe’s greenest and cleanest countries with untouched unique nature, white-sand beaches and open-hearted people. In the pavilion visitors can also try themselves out in basketball, make a wish on a Miracle Stone and discover Lithuania through many other things that Lithuanians are proud of.
Lithuania’s pavilion has been getting around 37,000 visitors per day, and expects to receive 2-3 million more visitors by the end of the exhibition.
EXPO 2010 is the biggest international exhibition of countries, running from 1851.
